| The Marin Health Fund (MHF) is accepting tax-deductible donations to support litigation by San Anselmo Attorney Ford Greene to obtain a fair count of the Ross Valley Flood Fee vote.
Fair elections and fair taxation are core to civil and economic rights. The 2004 election for the Marin Healthcare District and the 2005 election for the Fairfax Town council raised public concerns about election integrity. Now a third election is raising alarm: the Ross Valley Flood Fee. Enough is enough. Regardless of how people voted, the MHF Board of Directors agrees with the Marin IJ (25-Jul-2007):
- The voting process was poorly conceived and executed.
- It was a mistake that must not be repeated in Marin.
- The integrity of our elections is paramount.
